Annodata awarded position on the Central Buying Consortium Framework

MSP achieves place on Lot 1 and Lot 5 of local government framework, strengthening its commitment to the public sector.

Managed Services Provider (MSP) Annodata has achieved a position on the Central Buying Consortium (CBC) framework for the supply of Multi-Functional Devices (MFDs) & Document Solutions, & Managed Print Service – an accreditation the MSP has retained for a second term. Achieving this position reinforces Annodata’s ongoing commitment to the public sector and confirms the MSP’s place as a trusted advisor for the public sector.

The CBC is the largest local authority purchasing group in the UK, headed up by lead partner, KCS Professional Services. The framework has been devised to give public sector organisations the assurance that approved suppliers follow strict procurement guidelines and provide favourable pricing for public sector organisations. To achieve a place on the framework, vendors must be able to demonstrate that their devices and solutions deliver the best value, are reliable and meet stringent environment responsibility guidelines.

Annodata has achieved a place on both Lot 1 and Lot 5 of the framework. Lot 1 covers the provision of MFDs, to include both A4 & A4/A3 networked and standalone MFDs, photocopiers, printers, all with cost per page maintenance, and the provision of document solutions.

Lot 5 covers the provision of managed print services that control the customer’s printing devices, consolidating charges and driving savings through better efficiencies. Suppliers tendering for this lot must be able to provide a full range of hardware from desktop printers to high volume MFDs, as well as a portfolio of software options that can be tailored to meet the customer’s requirement to improve efficiency and drive down the overall cost of their printing processes.

Rod Tonna-Barthet, CEO of Annodata, commented: “We have a rich history of serving the public sector and have helped countless organisations navigate a safe and secure path to cost reduction and efficiency gains. We recognise that supporting innovation in the public sector is more crucial than ever with staff requiring an increasing amount of flexibility, convenience and an on-demand provision. When we consider that the printed page is still an integral part of the day-to-day functions of public sector organisations, it’s vital that these companies are able procure the most suitable solutions and products so they can achieve the visibility, transparency and control needed to boost their overall efficiency.

"We are delighted to have been awarded a position on the Central Buying Consortium framework – a placement that reaffirms our commitment to the public sector and will enable us to continue to act as a trusted advisor to organisations in this sector. Achieving this place will make it much more straightforward for the public sector to engage with us and will help to eliminate the time, cost and pain from local authority purchasing,” concludes Rod.

Tarryn Kerr Head of Professional Services commented:

“We are delighted to have appointed Annodata to our national framework and look forward to working with Rod and his team over the next 4-years to support the public sector and help with the challenges ahead.
